Although the European Union promotes sport as a tool for social cohesion, people with severe physical disabilities are often excluded due to a lack of appropriate support and training. The project uses BC3, a recognized Paralympic sport, to promote equal participation, taking into account both the athletic and psychosocial needs of the participants.

The project aims to identify the barriers faced by schools and sports clubs in adopting BC3 in their activities with children and adolescents. At the same time, it provides innovative and inclusive teaching methodologies to educators, coaches, and sports professionals. The project foresees the promotion of BC3 to students and young athletes with and without severe disabilities, as well as raising awareness among organizations about the benefits of mixed teams. The outcomes include a research study, educational materials and manuals, inclusion programs in schools, video guides for ramp construction, a scientific publication on the project’s impacts, and policy recommendations for the relevant authorities.
