The 8th Basketball Tournament 2025, held at the Mikra Indoor Hall as part of the BeActiveTogether initiative, was a unique sporting and social experience, bringing together two teams from Bulgaria, students from special schools in Thessaloniki, and the Aetoi Thessalonikis team. A highlight of the event was the presence of the Hellenic Police band performing the national anthems of Greece and Bulgaria, adding great value and prestige to the tournament. Sincere thanks go to the co-organizers, sponsors, and supporters, the Basketball Referees’ Association of Thessaloniki for their voluntary participation, and all institutions, representatives, and volunteers whose contribution ensured the success of the event, proving that through cooperation and inclusion, we can all go further together.
